How to use ERIS on HitCorp surfaces — start simple, then reference and integrations. Open Assistant · About ERIS

Who sees what

ERIS separates what you can ask from what the system will show you. Your portal login, roster link, or guest identification sets that ceiling. Self-stated clearance on the public communicator does not grant staff access.

Guests and the public website

Anyone can use the public ERIS surfaces for organization-facing questions at a public information tier. Guests without a portal account may still identify with a display name and a self-stated clearance color to unlock limited tools (assist, assess, fact-check, search). That identification is attributed but not verified against the personnel roster.

Guests do not receive personal notes, staff operations desks, or owner-only tools. See Website and accounts.

Signed-in members and clients

Portal members and clients sign in with a HitCorp account. They use the Standard Interface and Assistant with tools appropriate to their role. Clients (project contacts) can see personal notes and project notes for projects they belong to, such as BUNP, when the operator has added them.

HCI staff

Employees, supervisors, and executives use group operations contexts on the website and related staff channels. They can reach internal-tier reference material and org notes governed by clearance color (green through red on the roster), division, group, and explicit shares—not by guessing or bypassing those rules.

Staff Discord direct messages (when the account is linked on the roster) support assist-style help with confirm-gated writes; stack operations and Cursor relay are owner-only. See Discord.

Owner

The owner uses personal executive context: private Discord DM assist, portal owner chat, and Pocket (phone Interaction UI). Pocket is not linked from the public website and is not reachable through the website API proxy.

What ERIS will not do

  • Show one person’s private notes or restricted record to another user or to a lower-trust surface.
  • Treat a guest’s self-stated color as real clearance.
  • Publish HR, legal, or command decisions in place of a human authority.

For operating contexts (public communications, group operations, dispatch, personal executive), see About ERIS on this site.
